This policy describes what data the Fortnite Shop Watch app ("the app") collects, how it is used, and your rights as a user. The app is published by Gelotto.

Plain-English summary

• The app reads public Fortnite item-shop data from our server. No login, no account, no profile.
• If you turn on Shop rotation alerts in Settings, your device sends an Apple Push Notification (APNs) token to our server (along with the bundle id, app version, watchOS version, and your alerts-enabled flag), so we can deliver one push per shop rotation. Turning the toggle off deregisters the token.
• We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDK. We do not sell or share your data.

What we collect

The only personal-adjacent data the app transmits is what you explicitly opt into via the rotation-alerts toggle:

• APNs device token — issued by Apple. Used solely as a target address for push notifications. Cannot be used to identify you outside our service.
• Device metadata sent alongside the token: bundle identifier (com.gelotto.fortniteshop), app version, watchOS version, platform (watchos), and your alerts-enabled flag. Used for delivery routing, deduplication, and deregistration. Not linked to your name, email, Apple ID, IDFA, or any other identifier.

The app does not request access to contacts, photos, location, microphone, camera, health data, or any other Apple-permission-gated data source.

How we use it

• To send a push notification each time the Fortnite item shop rotates, while the toggle is enabled.
• To remove your token from our server when you disable the toggle, uninstall the app, or contact us to request deletion.

Server-side logs

Our API server records standard request logs (client IP, request path, timestamp, response status) for abuse prevention and operational diagnostics. These logs are retained for approximately seven days and then deleted. They are not joined to push tokens or device identifiers.

Third parties

• Apple Push Notification service — used to deliver notifications. Apple's privacy practices apply to their handling of the token and notification payload in transit.
• DigitalOcean — our cloud-infrastructure provider. They process data on our behalf as a sub-processor.

The app does not embed Google Analytics, Firebase, Crashlytics, Facebook SDK, or any comparable third-party analytics or advertising library.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Your rights

You can:

• Disable rotation alerts in the app's Settings — this immediately deregisters your token from our server.
• Uninstall the app — the OS revokes the token, and our server purges it on the next failed-delivery feedback from APNs.
• Email admin@gelotto.io to request immediate deletion of any token associated with your device, or to ask any other privacy question.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that materially affects what data is collected or how it is used, we will update the "Last revised" date at the top of this page and, where practical, surface a notice in-app.
